TOEIC Test

The TOEIC test is the most recognized English language test. 3 million people take the TOEIC test each year. TOEIC is used by corporations and government agencies to assess the English ability of their employees. 

The TOEIC test is very popular in Canada. Unlike tests that focus on English in an academic setting, the TOEIC test measures English language proficiency in real-life and business situations.

Language schools and universities use the TOEIC test for placement in English classes, to measure progress and to provide students with an internationally recognized certificate. Take the TOEIC test to track your progress in English language improvement and show employers your ability to use English at work.

TOEIC Test Basics

• You will receive an official TOEIC Score Report 2 weeks after the test.
• If you want a TOEIC Certificate, you can pay $25 when registering for the TOEIC test.
• Only students who are currently enrolled in a Vancouver English Centre program may take free TOEIC tests. Others pay the CAD$80 fee.
• Students must register for the TOEIC test at least 7 calendar days before the test date.

TOEIC Preparation Program

Our TOEIC Preparation Program is an elective course, which helps students achieve high TOEIC scores. It does not focus on general English language skills. Classes are divided into 3 levels. The TOEIC Preparation course is suitable for students who have attained at least an upper-intermediate level, who intend to take the TOEIC test. The TOEIC Preparation course is not suitable for students who do not need a TOEIC certificate.

Prerequisite: Vancouver English Centre Level 3A.
