did you become an ESL teacher?
I have always had a love for teaching and that, coupled with
a passion for language and communication, made ESL the inevitable
choice for a career.

Since 2004.

Since 2004.

No, to my deep regret.
What was your major in university or college?
Literature.
What do you like best about teaching?
That moment when a student smiles and says “Oh, I understand!”
What is your favourite topic to discuss with students
in your class?
The nuance of language, the joy of sharing.
What is your hobby?
I am a performing musician, vocalist and acoustic guitarist.
What advice do you have for new students?
You will like Canada and Canadians. Bring an open mind and
a sense of fun!
