Vancouver English Centre

The easiest way to pay is
"direct bank transfer".

Methods of Payment

METHODS OF PAYMENT

Please make all fees payable to:
Vancouver English Centre Inc.

Fees can be paid by "direct bank transfer" (also called "electronic funds transfer"), from your bank to ours. There is usually a charge for this service. To avoid the need of a second transfer, please ensure that you have not made a mistake.

To arrange a direct transfer, your bank will require the following information about our bank account:

ROYAL BANK OF CANADA
(HASTINGS AND GRANVILLE BRANCH)
685 WEST HASTINGS STREET
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA
CANADA  V6B 1N9
Account number: 127 185 7
Transit number:  06550 003
SWIFT number:  royccat2
ABA number:  021-000-021

If you open an account at the Royal Bank before you come to Canada, you can transfer  your school fees directly from your bank account to ours.  If you do this, please be sure to inform us of the exact amount and date of the transfer.

If a direct bank transfer is not possible, you may send a Bank Draft.  These should be sent by courier or registered mail.  You may also pay by Visa.  Although there is an additional 4 % charge for Visa payments, this can be an economical way to send small payments.  If you wish to use Visa, please include the appropriate information on your application form.

We can not accept Eurocheques.

After sending your payment, you can inform us with the online payment notification form.

One Canadian dollar is worth approximately 65 US cents.  This is one reason that Canada is a very affordable place to study.

*Insurance is CAD$60 per month, regardless of the total number of months.  Students who plan to remain in Canada longer than 6 months should not buy more than 3 months of private insurance because they will be eligible for government insurance after their third month in Canada.  Other students should have private insurance for the total time they will be in Canada.

We accept Visa payments by fax, e-mail or telephone.
There is a 4% service charge for credit card payments.

We usually receive bank transfers within one or two business days.
