	Education Through Experience This year we have added some exciting new activities and kept some old favorites. There are fun activities for everyone to enjoy. = Whether you love the outdoors and adventure or sightseeing and shopping, you will truly enjoy your Vancouver experience. Check them out!

Beach Volleyball

Close to downtown are Vancouver's beautiful beaches. Play beach volleyball in the sun with your friends. Or, relax on the beach, read a book, throw a Frisbee or watch the boats in the harbour.

Whistler Day Trip

North America's most famous winter resort is fun in the summer too!. Ride the gondola to the summit, hike the trails, walk across the glacier snow or spend the afternoon in the village. Day trip includes a stop at Shannon Falls.

	Kayaking in Deep Cove The secluded town of Deep Cove is a short drive from the city centre. Learn to kayak in the calm coastal waters of Indian Arm.


	Sightseeing in Granville Island Granville Island is a unique waterfront community and market close to the city centre. Explore craft shops exhibiting BC artists or have lunch with your new friends on the pier.

	Vancouver Art Gallery Visiting artists in the past have included Andy Warhol, Picasso, Monet, Edward Munsch. Also view the works of Emily Carr, a well-known BC artist.

Victoria Day Trip

Travel to British Columbia's beautiful capital city aboard a Super ferry. Highlights of the day will include the world-famous Butchart Gardens or Whale Watching in the Pacific Ocean.


	Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse Mountain Skyride Two of Vancouver's most famous landmarks in the same day! Both sights have wonderful views of the city. Don't forget your camera!


	Outdoor Rock Climbing A safe and adventurous activity. Travel to the famous "Chief" Mountain on the Sunshine Coast and learn to climb in a safe, guided environment. Excellent for beginners.


	Seattle Day Trip Shopping or Sightseeing in the United States of America. Explore some of Seattle's most favorable sights: The Space Needle, Pike's Place Market, Aquarium, Seattle Art Gallery and much more!


	Museum of Anthropology Located at the University of British Columbia, the Museum of Anthropology is an award-winning museum. Learn about the history and culture of aboriginal art.


	Vancouver Aquarium


	Sailing in English Bay A favorite student activity. See Vancouver from the water. Spend the afternoon sailing in English Bay, eat your lunch on the deck and enjoy the fresh sea air.


	The Space Needle In Seattle


	Souvenir Pottery Workshop Can't think of what to bring home to your friends and family? This is a unique activity where you can design your own souvenir keepsake pottery! Gastown Tour Stroll along the charming brick-paved lanes in the oldest part of Vancouver. Take a picture in front of the world's only Steam Clock and learn the legend of "Gassy Jack" Dayton.
